Website Re-design + Social
In early 2013, we realized that the Marshalls homepage was in major need of some updating, so we took it upon ourselves to make some recommendations. They gave us the green light for almost every single suggestion. In our most recent round of updates, I designed a social feed to aggregate all of Marshalls' social content on their homepage. Users can filter the content to view only certain pieces, view all and share posts via social media.
In the initial round of updates, we decided to use the "feature" space on the homepage to promote the social things we were doing as a brand. At launch, we highlighted: #fabfound, Fab it Up, the Look book and the Marshalls Pinterest account. The featured spaces rotated out seasonally or when new promotions started running.
We created some Vine videos during the holiday season that were promoted on the updated site and Marshalls’ social channels.
